      The paper critically assesses key factors that influence e-government service adoption, then reviews limitations of theresearch methodologies, furthermore discusses the importance of 'citizen characteristics' and 'organizational factors' in adoption of e-government services. Finally, the authors argue for the need to examine e-government service adoption in the developing world
